Tammy Myers, MS CCC/SLP

Speech Language Pathologist

Tammy, a graduate of the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, Tammy Myers received a Bachelor of Science degree and a Master of Science in Communication Disorders. She is a lifelong learner striving for knowledge in the complex processes of cognition, psychology, and language. She maintains her Certificate of Clinical Competence through  the national American Speech Language and Hearing Association. She continues in private practice speech language  therapy in Mount Pleasant. Tammy lives in Mount Pleasant.

Julie Fitzgerald MS, CCC-SLP

Speech Language Pathologist

Julie joined the Playroom team in 2017. She completed a Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders at the University of Cincinnati where she played for the Collegiate Volleyball team and then returned home to Milwaukee to complete Graduate Studies at University of Wisconsin- Milwaukee. Julie has a minor in Deaf Studies and has experience with school aged children who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing. Julie and her husband enjoy spending time with their 3 children and their new dog, Cincy.

Maddie Kreis, MS CCC/SLP

Speech Language Pathologist

Maddie received her Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Marquette University in 2021.  She has experience providing services for children and adults with a variety of communication disabilities in both school and medical settings.  Outside of work, Maddie enjoys going for walks, playing tennis and spending time with her friends, family and dogs.

Jake Szymanski, OTR/L

Occupational Therapist

Jake has enjoyed being a pediatric Occupational Therapist since he obtained his Master’s from Mount Mary University 2021.  Extensive training and experience allows Jake to specialize in Sensory Integration, Behavior Intervention Physical disabilities, and mental health.  In his free time, Jake enjoys going on hikes with his wife and their puppy Moose, golfing, spending  time with family, and watching/playing sports.

Tiffany Grinker, OTR

Occupational Therapist

Tiffany is a graduate of Mount Mary College with a Masters degree in Occupational Therapy and has had many years of hands-on experience in the field.  She enjoys working with students in the area of handwriting.  She also enjoys providing educational information in the community for parents and professionals.  In her spare time she enjoys scrapbooking and spending time with her family.

Amber Rice, OTR

Occupational Therapist

Amber obtained her Master’s degree from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 2016.  She has prior experience providing ABA therapy and has worked as a respite provider and a paraprofessional for young children. Amber is a strong advocate for building relationships and learning through play. In her free time, Amber enjoys quality time with family, friends and her black lab, Bella.

Dawn Wolfe

Billing and Systems Administrator

Dawn is the head of the billing department at The Playroom.  Dawn helps our Patients understand their insurance policies and is an advocate upon their behalf to get claims paid. Dawn oversees the development of policies and procedures that ensure timely, accurate customer invoicing and collections.  Dawn is also The Playrooms System Administrator and maintains the integrity of our confidential patient files.  Dawn and her husband enjoy cheering for their 3 kids in their many activities and sports.

Kate DeVries

HR Administrative Assistant

Kate oversees all the administrative functions that keep all our offices running smoothly. She provides Administrative Support to the company President and all Department Managers. She oversees the creation and distribution of business marketing materials.  Responsible for all HR needs: timesheets, payroll, new hire on-boarding, etc. Administers and tracks the use of all company benefit programs such as Paid Time Off, Health Care, Pension, etc.  Kate enjoys mountain biking and spending time with her kids, family and friends.

Samantha Badillo

Family Care Coordinator

Sam is a wife and a mother of two energetic girls along with their 2 dogs who love lots of cuddles. Sam enjoys spending time with her family, and quiet time crocheting or reading. Sam is a teacher at her church Hope City in Racine, WI where she is able to continue to express her passion for working with children. Sam says, “They bring me so much joy” while thinking about her time teaching. Sam has over 3 years of experience in the healthcare field, including scheduling, authorizations, and billing to name a few. She looks forward to bonding and developing a great relationship with all of our families, “I hope to have you all engraved in my heart and me in yours.”
